Key Responsibilities :

- Analyse requirements, user stories, and technical documentation to design effective test strategies.

- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data for Mobile (Android/iOS), Web, and Backend APIs.

- Perform manual testing across web, mobile apps, and REST APIs to ensure full coverage and accuracy.

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using open-source tools.

- Log bugs with clear steps, expected vs actual results, and environment details; follow through with developers to resolution.

- Conduct thorough regression testing after bug fixes or feature enhancements.

- Perform database validations using MySQL.

- Validate data flows across APIs, frontend/backend layers, and third-party integrations.

- Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and techniques.

- Track and report quality metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and execution stats.

- Monitor app performance and investigate issues using tools like JMeter, Postman, New Relic, or Visual VM.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Software QA, with strong focus on Mobile App, Web, and API testing.

- Proficient in manual testing for Android and iOS platforms.

- Experience with tools like Postman, Selenium, Appium, or similar.

- Strong understanding of REST API testing concepts and hands-on experience.

- Good knowledge of MySQL; ability to write complex queries and validate backend data.

- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.

- Good understanding of QA methodologies functional, integration, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, JMeter, Visual VM, New Relic.

- Automation experience with frameworks in Java or Python.

- Familiarity with security and performance testing concepts.
