This role involves working closely with the client's IT and business teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of the Equation core banking platform on the AS400 environment.

The consultant will contribute to the stability, performance, and security of the financial information system, directly impacting the efficiency and reliability of banking operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze client requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the Equation core banking system on AS400.

- Design and develop solutions to address business needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Provide application support for the Equation core banking system, resolving incidents and problems in a timely manner.

- Perform system integration tasks, connecting the core banking system with other financial systems and applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the AS400 environment, DB2 database, and SQL queries.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, test plans, and user manuals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of the core banking system.

- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to banking operations.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for core banking systems.

- Proven expertise in providing application support and troubleshooting issues related to the Equation core banking system on the AS400 platform.

- Strong proficiency in system integration, connecting core banking systems with other financial applications.

- In-depth knowledge of DB2 database and SQL, with the ability to write and optimize queries for performance.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
