Enterprise Architect
Role Overview :
As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the organization's overall IT architecture, ensuring it aligns with business strategy and objectives. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including business leaders, application development teams, infrastructure teams, and security experts, to design and implement solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
You will play a crucial role in guiding technology decisions, promoting innovation, and ensuring that IT investments deliver maximum value to the business. This role directly impacts the organization's ability to adapt to changing market conditions, improve operational efficiency, and achieve its strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technology trends.
- Define architectural principles, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and interoperability across systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into architectural requirements.
- Design and evaluate architectural solutions to ensure they meet business requirements, performance goals, and security standards.
- Provide architectural guidance and support to project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct architectural reviews to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Communicate architectural vision and strategy to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Mentor and coach other architects and technical staff to enhance their architectural skills and knowledge.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement enterprise-level solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Expertise in various architectural frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Deep understanding of cloud computing, microservices, and other modern technologies.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment across multiple locations.
