Role : Senior Application Developer

Job Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Senior Application Developer responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications across local, networked, cloud-based, and internet environments. The role involves working on both new application development and enhancement of existing systems used in business domains such as materials management, financial systems, HRIS, and other enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business users and cross-functional IT teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-documented application solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze business and technical requirements to design and develop application solutions

- Design, code, test, debug, and enhance applications using modern programming languages and frameworks

- Develop and modify applications used in enterprise, desktop, web, and cloud-based environments

- Perform application configuration, testing, and debugging to ensure optimal performance and stability

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including installation and maintenance procedures

- Work closely with users to define system requirements and implement required modifications

- Collaborate with internal IT teams including :

1. Infrastructure Management

2. Project Management Office (PMO)

3. Enterprise Architecture

- Resolve operational incidents and contribute to long-term application planning

- Participate in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, development best practices, and version control processes

- Mentor and guide junior or less experienced developers when required

Technical Skills & Qualifications (Required) :

- Bachelors Degree or 5+ years of relevant professional experience

- Strong experience in application development using Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET, or Java

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or other relational database management systems

- Proficiency with development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse, or similar IDEs

- Experience using source code management tools (Subversion or equivalent)

- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools

- Working knowledge of Windows Server operating systems

- Strong documentation and reporting skills

Development & Collaboration Skills :

- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall development environments

- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to collaborate with global teams across different time zones

- Clear verbal and written communication skills

Supervisory Responsibilities :

- This role does not include direct people management

- May mentor or provide technical guidance to junior team members
