Engineering Manager - Java Development

Work Mode : Hybrid (3 days/week from office)

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager Java Development to lead a high-performing engineering team and drive the development of scalable enterprise healthcare solutions.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities, ensuring high-quality delivery, architectural excellence, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 to 12 software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Drive engineering delivery, quality standards, and development best practices across projects.

- Design and oversee the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Program, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Manage engineering roadmaps, sprint planning, and delivery timelines to ensure successful product releases.

- Provide technical guidance on system design, architecture decisions, and code quality.

- Ensure adherence to DevOps, cloud, and modern software development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 11 to 14 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java-based technologies.

- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Strong frontend development experience with React.js (knowledge of Angular is a plus).

- Good understanding of AWS cloud services, including :

- EC2

- EKS/ECS

- RDS

- S3

- CloudWatch

- Proven ability to design scalable and secure enterprise-grade solutions.

- Strong people management and leadership experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
