- Strong backend expertise (Python / Node.js / Go / Java) with React/Next.js exposure

Role And Responsibilities :

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and scale our engineering team in a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing software development teams, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality scalable products. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and experience working in SaaS-based product companies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a 10 to 15 member engineering team

- Own end-to-end technical delivery and architecture decisions

- Drive engineering best practices (CI/CD, TDD, observability, scalability)

- Build and ship AI-native features (LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, automation)

- Collaborate closely with global stakeholders across UK & Europe

- Maintain strong quality metrics (DORA, uptime, test coverage)

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in software architecture and system design.

- Experience working in B2B SaaS product companies.

- Strong knowledge of backend and cloud-based technologies.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Must-Have Experience :

- 6 to 14 years total experience; 23+ years as Engineering Manager or Senior Tech Lead

- Managed teams of 10+ engineers in a SaaS product company

- Strong backend expertise (Python / Node.js / Go / Java) with React/Next.js exposure

- Experience shipping AI/LLM-based features in production

- Hands-on use of AI tools like Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot

- Experience in globally distributed teams

Preferred :

- B2B SaaS / FinTech domain exposure
