Role Overview :

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, guiding them in the design, development, and deployment of our core platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software that directly impacts our ability to provide efficient and sustainable energy solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Drive the design and architecture of scalable and reliable systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical best practices.

- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and prioritize product features, translating them into actionable technical specifications.

- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and execution to testing and deployment, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

- Manage project timelines and resources effectively, mitigating risks and ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality software.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on our platform and recommending adoption where appropriate.

- Contribute to the overall engineering strategy and roadmap, aligning technical initiatives with business objectives.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

- Proven expertise in system design and architecture, with a focus on building scalable and reliable systems.

- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with relevant frameworks and libraries.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

- Previous experience as a Founder, Co-Founder, Startup Founder, or Founding Member is highly desirable.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. (IIT & BITS)

- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience.
