We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Engineering to lead Talinks engineering teams in India and play a key role in shaping the companys global technology delivery capability.

This role requires a strong combination of technical leadership, people management, delivery governance, and engineering strategy.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable, high-performing teams while driving engineering excellence across multiple technologies and client environments.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology leader with experience scaling engineering organizations, mentoring senior technical talent, and delivering complex software solutions in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and drive Talinks engineering vision, standards, frameworks, and best practices across diverse technology ecosystems.

- Lead, mentor, and grow Technical Leads, Engineering Managers, and senior engineers to build a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Oversee engineering delivery quality, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability across all projects.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Delivery, Platform, and QA teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment.

- Serve as the senior technical escalation point for architecture decisions, delivery risks, and critical engineering challenges.

- Drive engineering governance, code quality standards, DevOps maturity, and CI/CD adoption across teams.

- Build scalable hiring and workforce planning strategies to support business growth and future capabilities.

- Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies, tools, and engineering practices that enhance delivery excellence.

- Foster an engineering culture focused on collaboration, learning, accountability, and technical excellence.

- Support global client engagements and contribute to strategic technology discussions with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 1015 years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in engineering leadership roles.

- Proven experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams and delivery organizations.

- Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles, cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and scalable application development.

- Hands-on exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and engineering governance.

- Deep familiarity with Agile, Lean, and modern software delivery methodologies.

- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Ability to lead engineering teams across multiple projects, technologies, and client environments.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.

- Experience working with globally distributed teams and international clients is highly preferred.
