Job Description:

- Work closely with Development Leads, Business Analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

- Design and develop scalable solutions based on functional and technical requirements

- Build and enhance solutions within Endur/energy trading platforms

- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, UAT, and production support

- Diagnose and resolve issues in business-critical production applications

- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code using Core Java and SQL

- Contribute to Agile project delivery and CI/CD practices

- Mentor junior developers and support team knowledge sharing

- Collaborate with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively

- Drive innovative approaches for solving complex trading and operational challenges

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java

- Good understanding of:

i. Design Patterns

ii. SOLID Principles

iii. JUnit

iv. Test-Driven Development (TDD)

- Strong SQL knowledge

- Experience in developing enterprise-grade applications

- Experience working in Agile delivery environments

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and GitHub

- Understanding of Azure Cloud is an added advantage

Energy Trading Domain Experience (Mandatory):

Strong understanding of energy trading markets with exposure to:

- European Gas markets

- Gas networks and balancing

- Scheduling and transportation

- Capacity management

- Pricing, Position, P&L, and Exposure Management

Trading Instruments Knowledge:

- OTC Transactions:

i. Forwards

ii. Storage

iii. Swing Deals

iv. Swaps

v. Simple Options

- Exchange-traded futures and options lifecycle

- Cascading concepts

ETRM/CTRM Experience (Preferred):

- Experience working on ETRM/CTRM platforms

- Endur/Openlink experience is highly preferred

- Experience in:

i. Endur Plugin Development

ii. JVS (Java Scripting in OpenLink Endur)

iii. Open Components (OC)

- Candidates with strong energy trading application experience but without Endur exposure are also encouraged to apply
