Job Description :

Role : System Administrator (Windows & Linux)

Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers to support business operations.

- Perform regular system backups, restore procedures, and disaster recovery planning.

- Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and server availability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve OS-level, hardware, and network-related issues.

- Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in both Windows Active Directory and Linux environments.

- Apply patches, security updates, and system upgrades to maintain compliance and stability.

- Configure and monitor IIS/Apache/Tomcat web servers and related services.

- Assist with server migrations, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud integration.

- Implement and maintain system security practices, including firewalls, antivirus, and access control.

- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines for internal knowledge sharing.

Skills & Qualifications :

- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Windows and Linux server administration.

- Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management and basics of MySQL.

- Experience with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, routing).

- Familiarity with server monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, etc.).

- Understanding of system security and patch management.

- Exposure to virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Linux).

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues.

- Strong scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Shell scripting) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
