The Solution Architect (India) :

The Solution Architect (India) is a key technical leader within the Innovation Lab, driving the design and experimentation of emerging technologies, including Generative AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI orchestration frameworks. This role is embedded in exploratory projects, translating conceptual ideas into technical architectures that push the boundaries of AI-driven and emerging tech solutions. The architect collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to prototype, evaluate, and iterate on novel solutions, ensuring alignment with evolving enterprise innovation strategies.

Responsibilities :

- Design flexible, scalable, and secure solution architectures to test and validate emerging AI technologies.

- Rapidly prototype and evaluate new frameworks, tools, and methodologies for AI-driven applications, RAG pipelines and agents-AI workflows.

- Contribute to the evolution of enterprise innovation patterns and architecture standards based on experimentation outcomes.

- Provide thought leadership on cutting-edge AI/ML technologies, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.

- Guide teams through proof-of-concept (PoC) development and experimental deployments.

- Conduct architecture reviews and contribute to technical assessments of emerging tools and platforms.

- Engage with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to refine and test AI use cases.

- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences to facilitate innovation adoption.

- Document and share key learnings from experimentation to influence future technology

- May mentor junior architects or developers but does not have direct reports.

Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in IT with at least 7+ years of experience in software architecture, emerging technology R&D, or related roles.

- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, AI/ML architectures, microservices, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or other agentic-AI/RAG frameworks.

- Proven track record of designing and experimenting with emerging technology solutions.

- Cloud architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation and emerging technologies.

- Ability to rapidly prototype and assess new technologies.

- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual-storytelling skills

- Able to translate complex technical ideas into clear, outcome-oriented narratives for diverse audiences.

- Comfortable working in an iterative, experimental, and fast-paced innovation environment.

- Normal office working conditions in an India-based innovation hub.

- Some coordination with global teams requiring flexible hours.

- Authority to define experimental architecture guidelines and propose innovative solutions.

- Influence technology exploration strategy within the Innovation Lab.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; masters preferred.
