Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced GCP Data Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and managing scalable data solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Informatica, with a proven track record in building robust data pipelines and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP services.

- Work extensively with BigQuery for data warehousing, data modeling, and performance optimization.

- Develop and manage data integration workflows using Informatica (IICS/PowerCenter).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Implement data quality checks, validation, and governance frameworks.

- Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows for performance and reliability.

- Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices across all data solutions.

- Automate data ingestion and transformation processes.

- Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

- Document data architecture, workflows, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).

- Expertise in BigQuery including query optimization, partitioning, and clustering.

- Proven experience with Informatica (IICS or PowerCenter).

- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts.

- Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages.

- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.

- Experience with version control systems like Git
