Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Python Automation Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience in scripting and automation, preferably within the semiconductor or embedded systems domain. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Python and shell scripting, along with a solid understanding of Linux environments and continuous integration pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.

- Work in Linux-based environments to execute and automate test workflows.

- Integrate test scripts with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.

- Run, debug, and triage automated/scripted test cases.

- Analyze test failures and report bugs using JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent tools.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in embedded or semiconductor projects.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong coding experience in Python scripting.

- Proficiency in Shell scripting.

- Hands-on experience in Linux environments.

- Prior experience working with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to semiconductor or embedded domain workflows.

- Experience in running, debugging, and maintaining automated test cases.

- Knowledge of bug tracking systems like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.

Desirable (Good-to-Have) Skills :

- Experience writing Python scripts for Windows platforms.

- Familiarity with video/image compression technologies (e.g., video codecs).

- Experience using tools like FFmpeg or Gstreamer for video processing.

- Exposure to DevOps tools and practices, including VM creation/management on Linux/Windows.
