Sterlite (STL/Elitecore) CRM-BSS Consultant

Role Overview :

We are supporting a client engagement to decommission and replace an existing Sterlite Technologies (STL) / Elitecore CRM-BSS platform at an operating company with a modern CRM/BSS solution.

We are looking for hands-on consultants who have direct implementation, administration, or architecture experience with the Sterlite/STL Elitecore CRM-BSS suite (Digital Commerce & Customer Management / DCCM, Revenue & Customer Management / RCM, Convergent Billing, Order Management, Provisioning) to support discovery, data/process mapping, and transition planning during the replacement.

Candidates may be positioned at one of three levels depending on experience :

- Solution Architect - owns the technical assessment of the legacy Sterlite CRM-BSS estate and designs the transition/replacement architecture.

- Technical Lead - leads the hands-on analysis of modules, integrations, and data flows, and coordinates the migration workstream.

- Platform Administrator - provides deep operational/config knowledge of the live Sterlite CRM-BSS system (user management, workflows, catalogue, provisioning rules) to de-risk cutover.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assess the current Sterlite/STL Elitecore CRM-BSS implementation at the client opco - modules in use (CRM, Billing, Order Management, Product Catalogue, Provisioning, Self-Care, Partner Management).

- Document existing customizations, integrations (network, payment gateways, third-party BSS/OSS), and data models.

- Advise on migration/replacement strategy - parallel run, phased cutover, or big-bang - and associated risks.

- Support data migration mapping from the legacy Sterlite platform to the new CRM/BSS target system.

- Work with the client and internal delivery team to validate business rules (billing, dunning, provisioning, catalogue) that must be replicated or re-engineered.

- Provide knowledge transfer to the incoming platform team.

- Flag platform-specific gotchas (i.e. convergent billing logic, staff/access management, audit trail requirements) that could affect timeline or scope.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven hands-on experience with Sterlite Technologies / STL / Elitecore CRM-BSS (DCCM, RCM, or "BSS of the Future" platform) - implementation, administration, or architecture.

- Strong understanding of telecom BSS domains: Customer Account Management, Product Catalogue, Convergent Billing, Online Charging (OCS), Order Management, Provisioning, Collections & Dunning, Partner Management.

- Experience working with a telecom CSP/MNO environment (African/Middle East telecom operator experience is a strong plus).

- Familiarity with system integrations typical of telecom BSS stacks (payment gateways, SMS/email gateways, network elements, device management).

- For Architect track: solution design, migration/transition architecture, stakeholder-facing documentation.

- For Tech Lead track: module-level configuration knowledge, integration troubleshooting, team coordination.

- For Admin track: day-to-day platform administration - user/role management, catalogue configuration, workflow/rules setup.

- Strong communication skills; comfortable working directly with client stakeholders during a sensitive replacement program.

Nice to Have :

- TM Forum (TAM) framework familiarity.

- Prior experience on a CRM/BSS replacement or migration project (not just steady-state operations).

- Exposure to modern/cloud-native BSS platforms (for gap analysis against the legacy Sterlite system)
