Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) Functional Testing Specialist with strong hands-on experience in UKG Pro WFM configuration, functional testing, configuration validation, and end-to-end test execution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UKG Pro WFM configuration, particularly Accruals, Business Structure, Pay Rules, Attendance, and Workforce Management, along with the ability to validate configurations against business requirements and identify downstream impacts.

This role will be responsible for developing test scenarios, executing functional and configuration validation tests, identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring end-to-end business process accuracy within the UKG environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform functional testing and configuration validation across UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM Pro).

- Validate UKG configurations against business requirements and functional specifications.

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.

- Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

- Validate configurations across Accruals, Business Structure, Pay Rules, Attendance, and Workforce Management.

- Analyze how UKG configurations impact downstream business processes and system functionality.

- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.

- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of system outputs.

- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, functional consultants, and implementation teams.

- Troubleshoot configuration and functional issues and provide detailed findings.

- Maintain accurate testing documentation and status reports.

- Support large-scale UKG implementation, enhancement, or migration projects where required.

Must-Have Skills:

- 56 years of relevant experience with strong hands-on experience in UKG Pro Workforce Management (UKG Pro WFM).

- Proven experience in UKG configuration and functional testing.

- Strong expertise in Accruals, Business Structure, Pay Rules, Attendance, and Workforce Management configuration.

- Strong understanding of how UKG configurations affect downstream processes and end-to-end business workflows.

- Experience creating, executing, and documenting test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify configuration and functional gaps.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience using Jira for issue tracking, test case management, and defect reporting.

- Exposure to UKG data migration and integration tools such as Dell Boomi, WIM, and File-Based Imports.

- Experience with UKG Advanced Scheduling and UKG Dimensions Reporting / BIRT.

- Strong MS Excel/spreadsheet skills for data validation and reconciliation.

- Experience supporting large-scale UKG implementation or migration projects.

- Exposure to integration testing and end-to-end validation of UKG WFM processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- The ideal candidate will be a hands-on UKG Pro WFM professional with a strong functional testing background.

- The role is heavily focused on validating configurations, executing test cases, identifying and tracking defects, documenting findings, and ensuring end-to-end business process accuracy within the UKG environment.

- Candidates with experience in enterprise-level UKG implementations, migrations, configuration validation, and functional testing will be highly preferred.
