Role & Responsibilities:
1. Architecture & Customization:
- Design, configure, and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions using best practices in software architecture.
- Develop custom extensions, plugins, workflows, entities, forms, and business logic using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and standard development languages (C#, JavaScript, TypeScript).
- Conduct code reviews and ensure custom code adheres to performance, security, and scalability standards.
2. Integrations & Data Migration:
- Design and implement robust integrations between D365 and external/third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Azure Integration Services, and Power Platform connectors.
- Plan, map, script, and execute large-scale data migration strategies from legacy systems into D365 environment(s), ensuring high data integrity and minimal downtime.
3. Azure Cloud Services Integration:
- Leverage Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Blob Storage) to extend D365 functionality and process complex background workflows.
- Assist in managing application lifecycle management (ALM), DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and environment deployments across cloud environments.
4. Technical Leadership & Problem Solving:
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME), analyzing technical issues, conducting root-cause analyses, and implementing effective fixes or optimizations.
- Work closely with Functional Consultants, Architects, and Business Analysts to translate functional specifications into clear technical designs.
- Communicate technical solutions, architectural decisions, and risks effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience & Technical Skills:
- 3-6 years of hands-on technical consulting experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations / Customer Engagement / Business Central).
- Architecture Mastery: Deep understanding of the D365 unified data model, security frameworks, and technical infrastructure.
- Integrations & Data: Proven experience in building enterprise-grade integrations (OData, Dual-write, Webhooks) and conducting data migrations (using Data Management Framework, SSIS, or specialized tools).
- Cloud Architecture: Solid working knowledge of Azure cloud ecosystem and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and Power Platform.
Soft Skills & Work Style:
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying bugs, performance bottlenecks, and structural flaws.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical ideas clearly to cross-functional teams and clients.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work self-directed with minimal supervision, while maintaining strong engagement within a team-oriented matrix environment.
Certifications (Preferred / A Plus):
- Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as:
1. Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals
2. Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
3. Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Developer / Functional Consultant (Module specific)
4. Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
