Duck Creek Policy/Claims Developer - Insurance Domain

Role Overview :

We are looking for a hands-on Duck Creek Policy Developer to support and enhance policy administration systems built on Duck Creek Policy.

The candidate should have strong experience in policy configuration, rating, forms, and end-to-end transaction processing within the insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work on Duck Creek Policy/Claims configuration and development

- Implement policy rules, underwriting rules, and validations

- Configure rating logic and premium calculations

- Work on forms development and integrations using TransACT

- Handle end-to-end policy lifecycle workflows (quote, bind, issue, renew, endorse, cancel)

- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to XML, XSLT, and APIs

- Support integrations with external systems and third-party services

- Perform unit testing and defect fixing

- Support SIT/UAT testing cycles

- Support production deployments and post-production issues

- Collaborate with QA and business teams to validate policy scenarios

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Duck Creek Policy configuration and development

- Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Forms, Rating, Rules, and Pages

- Knowledge of TransACT APIs and document generation

- Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and basic SQL

- Experience in API/Web Services (REST/SOAP) integrations

- Good understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
