Role Overview :

As a System & Infrastructure Administrator at Droisys, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, security engineers, and project managers, to ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of our systems.

Your expertise will be crucial in supporting our internal operations and delivering reliable services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance for all critical systems.

- Implement and maintain robust security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues, providing timely and effective support to internal users and external clients.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages to streamline system administration tasks and improve efficiency.

- Design, implement, and manage virtualization environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies to optimize resource utilization and improve scalability.

- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to best practices.

- Implement and maintain configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.

- Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks, proactively implementing solutions to prevent disruptions and ensure optimal performance.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Windows Server and Linux system administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Proven ability to design, implement, and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.

- Strong understanding of security principles and practices, with experience implementing and maintaining security measures to protect against threats.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automating system administration tasks.

- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V, including virtual machine management and resource allocation.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure.

- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
