Job Description

Description :


- Administration of DOORS :


- Provide technical support to DOORS users across engineering and project teams.


- Maintain DOORS Servers and health checks & updates.


- Develop and maintain documentation for DOORS usage, standards, and best practices.


- Maintain DXL scripts to automate tasks and enhance usability.


- Support integration of DOORS with other tools (e.g., RTC, RQM, Jira).


- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve requirements management workflows.


- Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.


- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to DOORS servers and databases.


- Install, configure, and maintain IBM Rational DOORS and DOORS Web Access.


- Manage DOORS database backups, recovery, and archiving.


Scripting and Automation :


- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards, security, and testing.


- Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide sustainable solutions.


- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible for configuration management.


- Use PowerShell for Windows-based automation and administrative tasks.


- Design and maintain Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD automation.


- Manage source control using Git and Bitbucket for versioning and collaboration.


- Integrate and monitor systems using Splunk for log analysis and performance insights.


User Support and Training :


- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to DOORS users.


- Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and best practice documentation.


- Gather user feedback and continuously improve support processes.


Documentation and Reporting :


- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.


- Generate reports on usage statistics, and incident resolution.


Collaboration and Communication :


- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and project management, to ensure


- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.


Qualifications :


1 Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.


2 3-5 years of experience in IT operations. Knowledge of ITIL best practices for IT service management.


3 Strong Linux system administration experience.


4 Proficiency in Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, and Splunk.


5 Familiarity with DXL scripting and DOORS customization.


6 Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
