Qualification, Experience & Skills Desired :
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering, Display Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in development, pre-silicon, and post-silicon validation of DisplayPort (DP) and Display Serial Interface (DSI).
- Strong understanding of display technologies, timing concepts, and protocols such as MIPI-DSI, eDP, DP.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with C/C++ for test automation, data acquisition, and debugging.
- Expertise in display validation workflows, image quality assessment, and working with tools such as Imatest, pattern generators, and optical measurement setups.
- Experience with SoC architecture, multimedia IP blocks (DPU, DSI, DP, GPU, ISP), and system-level display pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with lab and debug equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and other measurement instruments.
- Strong debugging skills for identifying root causes across hardware, firmware, and software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Study system specifications and develop comprehensive display test plans, procedures, and validation strategies.
- Perform pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of display subsystems, interfaces, and display controller pipelines.
- Execute functional, performance, stress, and compliance tests for DP/DSI display interfaces.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python for regression, test execution, and data processing.
- Use and manage lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and optical measurement systems.
- Analyze failures, perform detailed debug, and work closely with RTL, firmware, and design teams to resolve issues.
- Contribute to automation frameworks, improve validation methodologies, and ensure consistent test coverage.
- Prepare detailed documentation, test reports, and validation summaries for internal teams and audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end display subsystem validation and bring-up.
