Dish TV - Frontend Developer - React.js

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Be involved in all stages of design and development of large front end applications

- Write efficient code using sound computing knowledge of algorithms, data structures, patterns and practises

- Design, develop, integrate, optimize and debug large front end applications

- Work as part of an Agile team to deliver high-quality product scaling out to large customer bases (1 million +)

What we need :

- Sound computing knowledge of algorithms, data structures

- Expert knowledge of React JS / Redux / Sagas

- Expert in building extra-ordinary User Interfaces - HTML5, CSS3, JSX, SCSS etc

- Expert with Javascript ES5 / ES6 / Typescript / Babel languages

- Exposure to other frameworks expertise with Redux and Sagas

- Expertise in designing web application layouts - Responsive and Mobile web

- Exposure to design toolslike Invision, Zepplin, Figma, storybook etc will be required

- Some amount of exposure to HTML5 Players, JW Player etc will be required

- Expertise with React JS Debugging tools, Profilers / LINT is required (Chrome / Firefox)

- Knowledge of HTML5 media, WebRTC, Web Components, Web Workers is required or have theoretical knowledge of building PWAs

- Previous Experience in integrating all kinds of analytics tools / referral and attribution:-

- Google Analytics, Clevertap, Branch.io, AppsFlyr, Mixpanel, Youbora, etc

- Exposure to Unit testing and CI / CD using any tools mandatory

- AWS, Bamboo, Github Actions, Jenkins etc

- Solid skills on Git and Code Management

- Exposure to JIRA, Confluence is mandatory

- Exposure to Agile Methodologies will be required

- Any exposure to Media / OTT / HLS / HSS / DRM will be an added bonus

Ideal Qualifications:

- B.E / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech / M.S from Premier institutes preferred

- Computational thinking - Data Structures, Algorithms and Time Complexity

- Independent, energetic with good communication, collaboration and strong teamwork ethics
