About the Role :

- As Director of Engineering, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the technology direction and delivery strategy for a suite of enterprise platforms used by banks and credit unions to manage customer engagement.


- These platforms support critical capabilities such as customer relationship management (CRM), marketing automation, and customer servicing across the banking lifecycle.

- You will lead a large engineering organization responsible for building and scaling enterprise-grade SaaS solutions used by financial institutions in the United States.


- The role requires a balance of strong technical depth, strategic thinking, and people leadership.


- You will work closely with product management, design, and business teams to translate product vision into scalable technology platforms while ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

- In addition to driving product delivery, you will help strengthen engineering culture, mentor engineering leaders, and establish best practices in architecture, quality, and platform scalability.


- This is a highly influential role with the opportunity to shape technology platforms that support the digital transformation of community banks and credit unions.

What Youll Bring :

- Extensive background in software engineering with 17+ years of experience, including 5-6 years of significant leadership responsibility in product engineering organizations.

- Demonstrated success in building and leading large engineering teams consisting of 30-50 engineers, delivering complex enterprise software platforms.


- Strong expertise in system architecture, distributed platforms, and scalable SaaS application design.


- Experience working with customer engagement platforms, including CRM systems, marketing automation tools, or customer servicing solutions.


- Familiarity with technology environments used by financial institutions, including integrations with banking systems and digital channels.

- Ability to translate business strategy into engineering execution, aligning technology decisions with product objectives.


- Strong leadership capability in mentoring senior engineers and engineering managers while building collaborative teams.

- Experience working with modern cloud environments and cloud-native development approaches.

- Awareness of security, compliance, and regulatory considerations relevant to financial services platforms.

- Experience working in Agile product development environments with cross-functional teams.

- Exposure to building or modernizing customer engagement platforms at scale is an added advantage.
