Role Overview :

- Own security, stability, and reliability of production systems

- Build and operate FastAPI-based backend services

- Secure, deploy, and scale containerized applications

- Manage cloud, Kubernetes, and IT operations end-to-end

Core Responsibilities :

- Develop and operate backend services using Python & FastAPI

- Build secure APIs (auth, authorization, validation, rate limiting)

- Containerize applications using Docker

- Deploy and manage services on Kubernetes

- Handle scaling, rolling updates, ingress, secrets, and RBAC

- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting

- Own uptime, availability, reliability, and security SLAs

- Lead incident response and root cause analysis

- Support internal IT operations and system access

- Maintain technical and security documentation

Must-Have Skills :

- Python with strong FastAPI experience

- Docker (image building, optimization, security)

- Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, autoscaling, RBAC)

- Cloud platforms : AWS / Azure / GCP

- CI/CD pipelines for backend and containers

- Linux system fundamentals

- Production monitoring and troubleshooting

Security & DevSecOps :

- Secure API and data handling

- IAM, secrets management, encryption

- Container and image security scanning

- Vulnerability remediation

- Infrastructure and application security best practices

AI / ML (Bonus Not Core) :

- Supporting AI / ML inference services

- FastAPI-based model deployment exposure

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Infrastructure as Code & automation

- Centralized logging and observability tools

- Networking, firewalls, system hardening

- Experience handling production outages and security incidents
