DevOps Lead/Architect - Site Reliability

Role Overview :

The DevOps Lead/Architect will drive end-to-end delivery, solution architecture, and client success across DevOps, SRE, Security and Cloud engagements.

This role blends deep technical expertise, delivery excellence, and stakeholder engagement while overseeing engineering teams and ensuring client satisfaction.

The role requires a leader who can manage people, processes, and technology operations, while also contributing to pre-sales, strategy, and marketing enablement to support Infra360s growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Delivery & Operations :

- Lead and mentor a DevOps/SRE team (10+ engineers) across multiple client projects.

- Own delivery of projects SOW, milestones, SLAs, and client expectations.

- Conduct sprint planning, standups, and reviews to ensure accountability and quality.

- Ensure smooth resource onboarding, allocation, and project execution.

- Track and report on KPIs, delivery metrics, and client success outcomes.

Technical Leadership & Architecture :

- Design and review multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem solution architectures.

- Participate in client discovery calls, requirements gathering, and solutioning.

- Drive adoption of automation, observability, and incident management best practices.

- Contribute to architecture diagrams, case studies, technical blogs, and whitepapers.

Quality & Strategy :

- Define and enforce Quality Assurance (QA) processes for project delivery.

- Develop and execute a technology operations strategy aligned with business goals.

- Ensure compliance with delivery standards, security policies, and governance frameworks.

People & Project Management :

- Act as a Hiring Manager: recruit, onboard, and scale engineering teams.

- Provide career guidance, training, and mentorship to build high-performance teams.

- Effectively manage project planning, timelines, and human resource allocation.

Client & Business Engagement :

- Build strong relationships with US-based and global clients, ensuring proactive engagement and satisfaction.

- Identify service expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities within accounts.

- Support pre-sales activities: solution proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.

- Collaborate with marketing to support thought leadership, campaigns, and market positioning.

Candidate Requirements :

- Career Path : Started as a DevOps Engineer and grew into Lead / Architect / Manager

- Experience : Hands-on with DevOps services and managed multiple projects/deliveries.

- Product/Consulting Exposure : Experience as a DevOps Lead/Architect in mid-to-large product/consulting companies.

- Leadership : Managed teams of engineers with proven mentoring and scaling capability.

- Client Exposure : Worked with US/global clients, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Passion : Strong interest in DevOps tools, automation, and building scalable cloud solutions.

Technical Expertise Required :

- Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) & On-prem Experience

- DevOps & SRE : Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, CI/CD pipelines.

- Observability & Incident Response : Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, PagerDuty.

- Databases : PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ

- Automation & Infra : Python/Go scripting, Linux, DNS, Networking.

- Other Tools : Git, APM (NewRelic, OpenTelemetry), incident management & RCA writing.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 6-12 years in technology operations (DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure), with 3+ years in leadership/delivery management.

- Education : Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
