About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Ansible Automation Platform and Windows-based application deployments.

This role involves transforming manual deployment processes into fully automated DevOps workflows for enterprise-grade applications built on .NET, Angular, and SQL databases.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on automation experience, CI/CD pipeline expertise, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams in a large, structured environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyse existing manual deployment processes for Windows-based .NET and Angular applications.

- Design and implement automation workflows using Ansible Automation Platform.

- Develop, maintain, and document reusable Ansible playbooks and roles.

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for application build and release.

- Integrate internal enterprise tools with DevOps tools such as GitHub, Nexus, and Azure.

- Support database migration activities and deployment scripting.

- Collaborate with application teams, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployments.

- Maintain documentation in Confluence and track work using JIRA.

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DevOps automation practices.

- Drive continuous improvement and automation best practices.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have) :

- 8+ years of overall IT experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform.

- Proven experience automating Windows application deployments.

- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell / Python).

- Experience deploying and managing .NET applications.

- Experience supporting Angular applications.

- Working knowledge of SQL databases (database migration support preferred).

- Hands-on experience with GitHub.

- Experience with Nexus Repository.

- Experience working with Azure / Azure DevOps.

- CI/CD pipeline design and implementation experience.

- Experience using JIRA and Confluence.

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Experience working in large enterprise environments.

Good to Have :

- Experience in regulated or banking environments.

- Exposure to enterprise change management processes.

- Knowledge of security and compliance standards.

- Experience integrating enterprise in-house tooling.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- Relevant DevOps or Cloud certifications will be an added advantage.
