Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Azure Platform Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure services, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities :

Design & Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy scalable Azure cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

Infrastructure Management :

- Configure, monitor, and maintain Azure environments and workloads to ensure high availability and performance.

Security & Compliance :

- Ensure security, reliability, and compliance of Azure infrastructure using best practices and Azure security tools.

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Perform root cause analysis and resolve infrastructure-related issues efficiently.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery practices.

Documentation :

- Create and maintain documentation for deployment processes, architecture, and best practices.

Training & Mentorship :

- Provide guidance and support to team members on Azure technologies and cloud practices.

Disaster Recovery :

- Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Cost Optimization :

- Monitor and optimize Azure resource usage to ensure cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services

- Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, CodeQL

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools : Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

- Experience with containerization and orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes (AKS preferred)

- Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or New Relic

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, scalability, and performance optimization

- Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis

- Security & Compliance Expertise

Hands-on experience with :

- Azure Security Center

- Azure Active Directory (AAD)

- Azure Key Vault

Proven experience in :

- Conducting vulnerability assessments and security scans

- Implementing remediation measures

- Ensuring secure coding practices

- Implementing regulatory and compliance controls for Azure environments
