Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled FAPI Developer with strong expertise in 4G/5G wireless technologies, PHY-MAC interfaces, and telecom protocol development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SCF FAPI specifications, LTE/5G NR architecture, and C++ development in wireless communication environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain software components related to PHY-MAC communication in LTE and 5G NR networks.

- Implement and support SCF FAPI-compliant solutions.

- Work on PHY Layer (L1) and MAC Layer (L2) integration and communication.

- Develop and maintain nFAPI and P5/P7 interface functionalities.

- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize wireless protocol stack components.

- Collaborate with system architects, protocol engineers, and testing teams.

- Support feature development and enhancements for 4G LTE and 5G NR systems.

- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution.

- Participate in integration, validation, and system testing activities.

- Prepare technical documentation and design specifications.

Required Skills :

1. Wireless Domain Expertise :

- Strong understanding of : 5G NR Architecture, LTE Architecture, PHY Layer (L1), and MAC Layer (L2).

- Experience in telecom protocol stack development.

2. FAPI Expertise :

- Strong knowledge of : SCF FAPI Specifications, PHY-MAC Interface, nFAPI, and P5/P7 Interfaces.

3. Programming :

- Strong hands-on experience in C++.

- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.

- Experience working in Linux development environments.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with O-RAN architecture.

- Knowledge of 5G RAN development.

- Experience in embedded telecom software development.

- Familiarity with network analyzers and debugging tools.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
