DEEVITA is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to design and develop scalable enterprise applications.

Responsibilities :

Responsibilities include building and maintaining Java-based applications, developing RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring performance and security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust production-ready solutions.

- Develop and maintain back end micro services using Java and Spring Boot.

- Build and integrate scalable REST and GraphQL APIs.

- Design high-performance, secure, and reliable back end services.

- Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms (preferably GCP).

- Work with distributed systems and event-driven architecture using Kafka or similar pub/sub tools.

- Manage and optimize databases such as PostgreSQL or equivalent.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD or similar tools.

- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

- Collaborate with product and front end teams for seamless system integration.

- Follow micro services best practices and clean architecture principles.

Required Qualifications (Java Focused) :

- 7+ years of overall software development experience.

- 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java & Spring Boot.

- Solid experience in microservices architecture.

- 2+ years building and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs.

- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

- Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.

- Strong experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

- Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience deploying services using Kubernetes / containerization.

- Strong understanding of distributed systems.

- Experience in high-availability back end systems.

- Exposure to healthcare or enterprise-grade platforms (optional).

Education :

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (7+ years relevant experience).
