Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Dayforce Functional Consultant with 6 - 8 years of experience to join a Managed Services/Application Support team. The consultant will provide functional support for Dayforce Core HR and Payroll, working closely with business users, HR and Payroll teams, technical teams, and other support functions.
The role requires strong hands-on experience in Dayforce production support, incident resolution, problem management, configuration changes, payroll support, and minor enhancements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L2/L3 functional support for Dayforce Core HR and Payroll.
- Analyse and resolve incidents, service requests, and functional issues within agreed SLAs.
- Support critical payroll processing and payroll-related issues, including pay calculation, earnings, deductions, taxes, leave, and payroll results.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring production issues and recommend permanent solutions.
- Investigate payroll discrepancies and support payroll reconciliation and validation.
- Configure approved changes and enhancements within Dayforce.
- Assess the functional impact of system changes, patches, releases, and configuration updates.
- Work with technical teams to investigate integration/interface issues.
- Support HR and Payroll business users with Dayforce functionality and process-related queries.
- Manage tickets through the complete lifecycle triage, analysis, resolution, testing, deployment, and closure.
- Prioritise incidents based on business impact and severity, particularly payroll-critical issues.
- Participate in monthly/periodic payroll support and payroll parallel activities where required.
- Support regression testing following Dayforce releases, configuration changes, and fixes.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation, knowledge articles, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
- Support minor enhancements, change requests, and configuration activities.
- Coordinate with Dayforce technical/integration teams and third-party vendors where required.
- Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
- Provide regular status updates and communicate issues, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders.

Required Experience :
- 6 - 8 years of functional HCM/HRIS experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Dayforce.
- Excellent functional knowledge of Dayforce Core HR and Payroll.
- Previous experience in a Dayforce application support / managed services environment.
- Strong experience troubleshooting production issues.
- Good understanding of HR and Payroll business processes.
- Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools is desirable.
- Experience working with integrations/interfaces and technical support teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Resolve Dayforce Core HR and Payroll incidents within SLA.
- Provide strong support during critical payroll processing periods.
- Identify and eliminate recurring production issues through effective RCA/problem management.
- Deliver configuration changes and minor enhancements with minimal business disruption.
- Maintain strong relationships with HR, Payroll and business stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate documentation and knowledge transfer within the Managed Services team.
