Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Datacap Developer with 8 - 13 years of experience to design, develop, and implement scalable enterprise data applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop enterprise applications and data services using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).

- Develop scalable and maintainable backend services using Node.js and/or Java.

- Build and expose OData and RESTful APIs for enterprise applications and data consumption.

- Develop business logic, service models, validations, and custom handlers using SAP CAP.

- Design and implement data models using CDS (Core Data Services).

- Work with SAP HANA Cloud for database design, development, optimization, and data persistence.

- Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, OData, REST, and other integration mechanisms.

- Implement authentication, authorization, role-based access, and application security.

- Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and production issues.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, and performance standards.

- Collaborate with solution architects, data engineers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on SAP CAP development.

Tech Stack & Skills :

- SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), Node.js, Java.

- CDS, OData V4, REST APIs.

- SAP HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, SAP Business Application Studio.

- Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes (advantage).

Requirements :

- 8 - 13 years of overall software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP CAP and CDS data modeling.

- Experience in developing enterprise-grade backend services.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.
