Role Overview :

As a Data brick Engineer at Nazztec, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust data pipelines and solutions using Azure Databricks. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, data analysts, and other engineers to build scalable and efficient data processing workflows. Your work will directly contribute to enabling data-driven decision-making and driving business growth for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks for ingesting, processing, and transforming large datasets.

- Develop and maintain efficient and reliable ETL processes to ensure data quality and consistency.

- Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models on the Databricks platform.

- Optimize data processing workflows for performance and cost-effectiveness.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.

- Contribute to the development of data governance policies and best practices to ensure data security and compliance.

- Automate data engineering tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement data pipelines using Databricks.

- Proven expertise in data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Strong programming skills in Python or Scala, with experience in Spark.

- Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
