Role Overview :

We are hiring a Database Engineer (SQL) with strong DevOps and API integration experience to support our full-stack applications built using React and Node.js.

The role focuses on SQL database management, CI/CD pipelines, API support, and cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).

Key Responsibilities :

Database Engineering :

- Ensure database security, availability, and performance.

- Support DB deployment, migrations, backups, and documentation.

- Integrate and test APIs using tools like Postman.

- Collaborate with developers to align DB design with application logic.

DevOps & Cloud :

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.

- Manage cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure) and automate provisioning with Terraform or Ansible.

- Implement Docker/Kubernetes-based container solutions.

- Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.

Version Control & API Integration :

- Manage Git repositories and enforce clean workflows.

- Work with backend teams to optimize API interactions and ensure secure integrations with third-party services.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Strong SQL development and query optimization experience.

- Familiar with React & Node.js architecture and REST APIs.

- Hands-on with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), CI/CD, Git workflows.

- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Azure SQL.

- Familiar with OpenAPI standards and Agile methodologies.

- Exposure to monitoring tools like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.
