Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator in Chennai with 5-8 years of experience.

We are a team of 550+ engineers, driving innovation across Product & Data Engineering, focusing on Agentic AI, RPA, Full Stack, and GenAI-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain MariaDB databases.

- Manage and monitor MariaDB Galera Cluster environments.

- Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.

- Monitor cluster health, replication, synchronization, and node availability.

- Configure and maintain high-availability database environments.

- Manage database backup, restoration, and disaster recovery activities.

- Troubleshoot database, replication, connectivity, and performance issues.

- Perform database upgrades, patching, and configuration changes.

- Manage database users, roles, privileges, and security.

- Provide production support and resolve critical database incidents.

- Maintain database documentation and operational procedures.

Must-Have Skills:

- 5+ years of DBA experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with MariaDB.

- Strong experience with MariaDB Galera Cluster.

- Good understanding of database replication and clustering.

- Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.

- Strong knowledge of backup and recovery.

- Experience troubleshooting production database issues.

- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and SQL.
