- Lead and manage database administration teams to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable database operations.

- Design, implement, and maintain complex database architectures tailored to financial data requirements.

- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for capital markets data, including products, securities, and pricing.

- Model complex data domains such as : Security & Product Reference Data/ Market or Trade Data

- Collaborate with business analysts and engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data models.

- Design data architectures supporting both OLTP (transactional) and OLAP (analytical/data warehouse) environments.

- Work with structured data (relational databases) and semi-structured data (JSON, Avro, Parquet).

- Ensure data models comply with governance standards, regulatory requirements, and performance expectations.

- Contribute to ETL/ELT planning and performance optimization from a data modeling perspective.

- Work with engineering and product to execute on the product roadmap, prioritize feature backlog and drive an Agile product development framework within their teams.

- Design and document detailed requirements.

- Assist with client relationship management activities

- Conduct root cause analysis for database-related issues and implement corrective actions.

- Stay updated with the latest database technologies, trends, and financial industry developments.

- Mentor junior team members

Mandatory :

- 10+ years of experience in database management, with at least 3-4 years in a senior or managerial role within the financial domain.

- Proficiency with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER/Studio).

- Strong SQL and PL/SQL expertise with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake

- Performance Optimization experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL,

- Solid understanding of OLTP vs. OLAP design principles.

- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses, especially Snowflake.

- Familiarity with data warehouse methodologies (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault).

- Ability to design performant data models for market data use cases.

- Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache Spark).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholders.
