About the Role :
- Build, train, and deploy end-to-end machine learning models to support cost optimization, predictive analytics, and operational efficiency.
- Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools like BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, and Dataflow for data processing and model deployment.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), statistical modeling, and feature engineering using Python.
- Develop MLOps pipelines and automate workflows for production-ready ML solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product owners, and domain experts to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Optimize ML models for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in a cloud-native environment.
- Communicate insights and model results effectively to stakeholders using dashboards and visual reports.
Technical Skills Required :
- Languages & Frameworks : Python, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is mandatory
- BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, AI Platform
- ML/AI : Supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting, model evaluation
- Cost Analysis Techniques : Predictive cost modeling, financial data analysis, optimization models
- Data Handling : ETL, data wrangling, pipeline creation, large-scale data analysis
- Tools & Libraries : Jupyter Notebook, Git, Airflow (preferred), GCP SDK, Google Colab
- Visualization : Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn
- MLOps & Deployment : CI/CD for ML, model versioning, containerization (Docker is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in data science and machine learning
- Automotive or manufacturing domain experience is a plus
- Exposure to cost forecasting models, KPI tracking, and business dashboards
- Prior experience with end-to-end ML model lifecycle in a cloud environment
