Data Scientist - Machine Learning

Job Title : Data Scientist Classical ML

Experience : 5 to 7 Years

Location : Bangalore, Pune, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kolkata

Availability : Immediate to 15 Days

Key Responsibilities :

- Clean, process, and analyze large datasets using Python and SQL.

- Perform feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and evaluation.

- Generate insights from structured/unstructured data and deliver actionable business recommendations.

- Build reusable code and libraries for data science applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data engineers, and analysts.

- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Python for data science and machine learning.

- Strong command of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

- Solid understanding of classical machine learning algorithms like Linear/Logistic Regression, Random Forests, Decision

Trees, SVM, KNN, etc.

- Experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, seaborn.

- Experience in model evaluation and performance tuning.

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

- Knowledge of data visualization and exploratory data analysis (EDA).

Good to Have :

- Exposure to time-series forecasting and anomaly detection.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with MLOps practices or frameworks.

- Exposure to business domains such as finance, retail, or supply chain.
