Data Scientist - Machine Learning

About the Opportunity :

UST is looking for a talented Data Scientist to join their growing analytics team. This role is ideal for early to mid-career professionals who are passionate about leveraging data science to drive business outcomes. You will work on diverse projects involving machine learning, data visualization, and predictive modelling to support strategic decision-making for global clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Modelling & Analysis :

- Perform exploratory data analysis and communicate findings to stakeholders

Machine Learning Implementation :

- Optimize models for accuracy, performance, and scalability

Data Pre-processing & Feature Engineering :

- Design and implement feature engineering pipelines

Reporting & Visualization :

- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations

Client Collaboration :

- Present technical results to non-technical stakeholders

Desired Skills :

- Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques

- Experience with SQL, data wrangling, and working on structured/unstructured datasets

- Knowledge of model deployment, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and MLOps is a plus

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Eligibility Criteria :

Education :

- PG : Preferred M.Tech / M.Sc / MCA in Data Science, Analytics, or related fields
