Duration : 6+ Months Contract to Hire

We are looking for a Data Scientist to develop analytical solutions that drive strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for creating the concepts and implementing statistical models, building end-to-end AI products on Azure DevOps, presenting insights to senior leadership.

We expect a professional with experience in ETL, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling, as well as SQL knowledge, Python, R, and Deep-Learning Frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS) will be an advantage.


Responsibilities and assignments :


- Propose the analytical solution for the business problem by implementing statistical models and programming techniques.


- Ensure that any obstacles in the implementation are brought to the attention of the Analytics Manager so that project timelines are not affected.


- Create end-to-end AI products using Azure Dev Ops.


- Document all aspects of the project in a standardized manner for future reference.


- Storyboard and present insights to senior leadership.


Requirements and Qualifications :


- Experience in data science, preferably in the CPG domain.


- ETL and exploratory data analysis.


- Experience working with large amounts of real data using SQL (Teradata, Oracle or MySQL) and R, or another statistical package.


- Good knowledge on implementing machine learning and deep learning algorithms.


- Capability to working with complex data-sets, Machine Learning and DL systems such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch, etc.


- Bachelor's degree.


- Capability to create insightful models in Python and R.


- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, AWS is preferred.


- Degree in any field related to Statistics, Applied Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Operations Research, or any other quantitative analysis.


- Fluent in English;


- Spanish may be a advantage.


- Programming languages (Python, R) (mandatory). Proficient in SQL.


- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
