Data Protection Automation Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Protection Automation Engineer

In this role, you will :

- Design, develop, test and support automation for the data protection services within the bank.

- Design, develop, test and support reporting and monitoring capabilities for the automation.

- Provide engineering support on the banks data protection products and their standard usage.

- Undertake product evaluation, new features, and versions.

- Produce clear and comprehensive documentation for all automation produced.

- Mentor less experienced members of staff.

Requirements :

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements :

- 10+ years development experience with multiple languages, including Python, Bash

- 5+ years experience in configuration management and orchestration using Redhat Ansible

- 5+ years experience in configuration management and orchestration using Puppet

- 5+ years experience in designing, developing, and testing Rest API services

- 5+ years experience in Devops SCM tooling, GitHub

- 5+ years experience in Devops CI/CD tooling, Jenkins, CloudBees

- 5+ years experience in Devops collaboration tools, Jira, Confluence

- Strong technical background in Veritas NetBackup and related infrastructure

- Strong technical background in Commvault and related infrastructure
