Data Modeller - Erwin/SQL Server

Role Overview :

As the Data Modeller (Enterprise), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level data models that support Talent Pro's strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with data architects, business analysts, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust and scalable data solutions. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our data-driven decision-making processes, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models that align with business requirements and data architecture standards.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, ensuring models accurately reflect business needs.

- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation.

- Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency.

- Provide guidance and support to development teams on data modeling best practices.

- Evaluate and recommend data modeling tools and technologies.

- Participate in data architecture reviews and contribute to the development of data strategy.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement enterprise-level data models using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., Kimball, Inmon).

- Proven expertise in data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.

- Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.

- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
