We are seeking a Data Governance Product Lifecycle Analyst to operationalize enterprise data governance practices across the product lifecycle. This role focuses on improving data security, compliance, quality, and transparency through structured cataloging and governance checkpoints.
The analyst will collaborate with Product Operations, Data Governance, Architecture, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure data assets are cataloged, classified, traceable, and compliant before release.

Data Cataloging & Governance :
- Coordinate cataloging activities across lifecycle checkpoints

- Ensure completeness before release approvals
Metadata Management :
- Maintain and enhance metadata in :
a. Microsoft Purview
b. Databricks Unity Catalog
- Manage :
a. Business definitions
b. Ownership & stewardship
c. Sensitivity classification
d. Lineage mapping
Security & Compliance :
- Support governance reviews for :
a. Sensitive data classification
b. Data retention policies
c. Access controls
- Compliance evidence
Data Quality Coordination :
- Coordinate :
a. Data quality rules
b. Profiling inputs
c. Issue tracking & remediation
d. Ensure catalog-driven quality governance
Lifecycle Integration :
- Embed governance checkpoints into :
a. Intake
b. Design
c. Change reviews
d. Release readiness
Workflow & Reporting :
- Track :
a. Governance approvals

d. Data quality issues
- Provide reporting dashboards for leadership
Business Glossary Alignment :
- Align :

Experience Required :
- 4 to 7 years in :

Desired Skills :
- Purview & Unity Catalog integration experience
