We are seeking a skilled GCP BigQuery Developer with strong SQL expertise and working knowledge of Python to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services-especially BigQuery-and will be responsible for developing efficient data solutions to support analytics, reporting, and business insights.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions using BigQuery and other GCP-native services.

- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

- Build and maintain data pipelines to support BI, analytics, and reporting workflows.

- Conduct data validation, profiling, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.

- Collaborate closely with business analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams to understand data requirements.

- Develop Python scripts for automation, orchestration, and lightweight ETL processing.

- Monitor, analyze, and improve the performance of BigQuery workloads.

- Maintain clear documentation of data flows, transformations, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 - 8 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or BI development.

- Proven hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and GCP data services (e.g., Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow - optional).

- Strong command of SQL, including analytical functions, joins, CTEs, and window functions.

- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and normalization.

- Experience with version control tools like Git
