Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 10-12 years of industry experience to lead and support data engineering initiatives across the data platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in distributed data processing, cloud data technologies, and modern data architecture practices. This role involves providing technical direction, mentoring data engineers, and ensuring best practices in development, review, and testing processes.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities :

- Responsible for providing direction to data engineers working on the data platform, including best practices, review, and testing processes

- Provide engineering support to data engineering resources within delivery squads

- Ensure the right data engineering resources are aligned to the program and properly onboarded and mentored

- Continuously update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art tools, programming techniques, and emerging technologies

- Participate in educational opportunities, maintain professional networks, and stay updated with industry trends

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in PySpark and SQL

- Hands-on experience with Databricks

- Experience working with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog

- Experience in cloud data migration projects

- Strong understanding of large-scale distributed data processing systems
