Data Engineer - IT Quality

About the Role :

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Data Engineer - IT Quality to drive data engineering initiatives and support applications across Quality, Consumer Services, and Sustainability domains.

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust data integration solutions to enable seamless data flow across quality systems in regulated environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ETL, cloud data platforms, and Veeva Vault, ensuring compliance with regulatory and business requirements.

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows for quality systems

- Integrate and manage data across platforms using tools such as Informatica Cloud, Ascend, Google Cloud Dataflow, and Composer

- Work extensively with Veeva Vault for data integration, extraction, and system support (mandatory)

- Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Python and Spark

- Ensure high data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards

- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing data pipelines and integrations

- Support Agile delivery using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps

Mandatory Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault (must-have)

- Strong expertise in ETL tools: Informatica Cloud, Ascend, Google Cloud Dataflow, or Composer

- Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and scripting

- Experience with Spark for large-scale data processing

- Strong knowledge of data integration patterns (APIs, REST, SQL)

- Experience working in regulated environments (Quality / Life Sciences preferred)

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms: Google Cloud (preferred), AWS, or Azure

- Familiarity with databases/data warehouses: BigQuery, SQL Server, Oracle

- Understanding of data governance, compliance, and validation processes

- Experience working in Agile environments

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on data integration

Work Requirements :

- Willingness to work 4 days on-site in Hyderabad

- Ability to overlap with US EST time zone
