Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and managing scalable data pipelines, ensuring efficient data storage, transformation, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP

- Work extensively with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

- Implement data solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems

- Optimize and tune SQL queries for performance and efficiency

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions

- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and pipelines

- Maintain proper documentation of data processes and architecture

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Advanced proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, performance tuning)

- Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, or similar tools

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes

- Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems

- Familiarity with Python or any scripting language is a plus

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
