Data Engineer - Gainsight/Workato Platform

Description :

- Build and maintain integrations between Gainsight and third-party systems using Workato (our iPaaS platform).

- Connect to external APIs to extract, transform, and load customer data for onboarding and migration projects.

- Develop scripts and tools to validate data before import, ensuring quality and accuracy.

- Create reusable integration recipes to speed up future onboarding efforts.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and error-handling frameworks to ensure integrations are reliable and maintainable.

- Collaborate with Customer Success and Professional Services teams to understand data requirements and design effective solutions.

Requirements :

- 5 years of experience in data engineering, integrations, or a similar role.

- Proven experience with Workato or another iPaaS platform.

- Strong knowledge of API integration (authentication, pagination, transformation).

- Hands-on experience with ETL pipeline development and data migration.

- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with BI/reporting tools.

- Experience with Salesforce data modeling and APIs is a plus.

- Basic scripting skills in Python or similar for automation tasks are preferred.
