Job Description

Position: Data Engineer (5+ Years Experience)


Role Overview :


We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and real-time data processing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in distributed data systems, data pipelines, and modern data engineering best practices.


Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines


- Build and manage data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming data solutions


- Work with distributed systems and big data technologies such as Kafka, ClickHouse, Pinot, MinIO, Hadoop, and Spark


- Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources


- Implement data modeling, data governance, and data quality frameworks


- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of data platforms


- Support DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and system monitoring


- Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, analytics, and engineering


Required Qualifications :


- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles


- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala


- Hands-on experience with distributed data processing systems (Kafka, Spark, etc.)


- Strong proficiency in SQL across relational and NoSQL databases


- Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipeline orchestration


- Familiarity with Docker, Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps


- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectures


- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills


Preferred Qualifications :


- Experience in BFSI / Fintech domains


- Knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory requirements


- Relevant cloud, big data, or data engineering certifications
