Position : Data Engineer (Support Role)

Experience : 3 to 4 Years

Shift Timing : 7 AM to 4 PM IST OR 3 PM to 12 PM IST (Rotational candidate may need to work in either shift as required)

Work Mode : Work from Office

Job Description :

We are hiring a Data Engineer for a support-based project to manage and maintain data operations. The role involves monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines, handling incident tickets, performing root-cause analysis, and ensuring system health.

Candidates must have strong experience in SQL Server (queries, performance tuning, stored procedures), hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, notebooks, ETL/ELT), and working knowledge of Python. Rotational shift support is required.

Key Responsibilities :

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support data pipelines and workflows.

- Handle incident tickets, perform root-cause analysis, and monitor system health.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability and reliability.

- Optimize and maintain existing ETL processes.

- Provide on-call support during assigned shifts.

Required Skill Set :

- Strong experience with SQL Server (queries, performance tuning, stored procedures).

- Hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, notebooks, ETL/ELT pipelines).

- Experience in Python.

- Ability to diagnose issues and provide timely fixes in a production environment.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
