Data Architect - Google Cloud Platform

Job Overview :

We are looking for a Cloud Data Leader / Junior Data Architect to design and build scalable, high-performance data platforms on Google Cloud.

This role requires strong expertise in data modeling, cloud data architecture, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and optimize data warehouse and data lake solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.

- Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and governance practices.

- Optimize data performance, scalability, and cloud cost.

- Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams to translate requirements into data solutions.

- Review data designs and guide engineering teams on best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7 to 10 years of experience in data engineering and cloud data platforms.

- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

- Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, and SQL.

- Strong understanding of data modeling for analytics use cases.

- Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and large datasets.

- Ability to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with streaming or real-time data pipelines.

- Exposure to data governance, security, and compliance.

- Experience working in large-scale analytics environments.
