We are seeking a Data Architect & Development Lead to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade data platforms for fintech customers (banks, NBFCs, lenders). This role owns data architecture, pipeline development, analytics enablement, and governance, delivering decision-ready insights embedded into CRM and lending workflows.

You will architect modern AWS lakehouse solutions, lead hands-on development, and partner with product and customer teams to drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Architecture :

- Design end-to-end data architecture using AWS lakehouse patterns (S3, Glue Catalog, Apache Iceberg).

- Define scalable data models, schemas, and governance frameworks for analytics and BI.

- Architect cost-efficient, high-performance data platforms feeding Redshift/Postgres.

- Establish standards for data quality, security, lineage, and compliance (PII, SOC 2, GDPR).

Data Development :

- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and Python.

- Develop ingestion pipelines from product events, CRM systems, and financial platforms.

- Implement batch and near-real-time processing where required.

- Support BI consumption via Power BI / Tableau / Metabase.

Analytics & Stakeholder Enablement :

- Enable analytics onboarding, training, and best practices.

- Partner with product, engineering, and customer success teams to embed insights into CRM workflows.

- Support customer success initiatives including QBRs, success plans, and insight playbooks.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in data architecture and data engineering.

- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and Python.

- Proven experience designing cloud-native lakehouse architectures on AWS.

- Experience handling financial and regulated data (PII, SOC 2, GDPR).

- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.

- Strong communication and stakeholder-facing skills.
